NOW, ON TO THE NEWS: Things are always hectic around here with everyone going their separate ways:Bob is really busy at work, especially now that his new 'Start-Pannel' has been approved. There are a lot of changes taking place at the Shop and organizing that while attempting to keep the Shop running smoothly as it enters it's peak (summer) work load is a hand full! However, he anticipates that this will drastically increase efficancy, is excited with the aspect. His elbow is still giving him a lot of trouble and it looks as though surgery will ultimately be the solution; a prospect he is not looking forward to as he will be casted for some time afterward. He is really looking forward to summer this year, and can't wait to get up to the Lake. Krissy is busy, as always, with work, acting, and school. She has been accepted into an Shakespearian Troupe centered at MCC and is currently in a production of 'A Midsummers Nights Dream'. It has gotten 'Rave Reviews', and she is certainly enjoying doing it. She has re-entered MCC, in her on-going educational process, and is now taking courses in Criminal Justice; a subject in which she has always been interested. She has also joined a Health Club. So when she is not working or rehearsing she is working-out. ( I wish I had her energy!) She is constantly on-the-go, and really enjoying life! Jenny is busy with school, and work. She is nearing the end of her GED program and will begin testing soon! Then anticipates MCC in the fall. She has a new job at a CLOTHSTIME, and really enjoys it! Especially as she gets good employee discounts! She LOVES her car, and is learning alot about financial obligations, what with car payments, insurance, etc. She has a new Boyfriend, Joe, whom she has known for several years. (Their photo is in the Gallery) He seems like a nice boy and they are very happy together. So Jenny, too, is always on-the-go! As for me-- I'm going, but slower these days. I'm still able to keep up with the family pretty well but, as it has become evident, I must admit that my old nemises, Polio has raised it's ugly head once again in the form of PPS (post-polio-syndrom). I do have a good team of Orthopedic Specialists, and am currently in Physical Therapy. So the fight continues... I too, am anticipating Spring. Am looking forward to getting up to the Lake, and also out in the yard. I have lots of gardening ideas, and am in hopes of getting them completed! In General: We had a nice Easter. Just us and my folks, but it was very nice. (Hope you all had the same!) My folks are getting up there, and the Girls are getting older- they won't be home much longer, so each holiday we spend together is special to us. We all realize how quickly things can change and we value these times together. Now, with the change in the seasons we are all beginning to think in terms of out-door projects, sports, etc. So, as our priorities turn from indoor -to- outdoor activities in anticipation of Spring, our hopes are that you, also will enjoy the weather, and HAVE A GRAT SPRING!! BEST WISHES FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS |
